With a documentary approach, I move unobtrusively through the event and capture what really happens: real conversations, real reactions, real atmosphere. No staged scenes, no artificial poses.

Why professional event photography matters

An event costs time, budget and energy — but without professional documentation, little of that often remains. Good event photos are not a nice bonus. They are a strategic tool.

They allow your company to repurpose the event on social media, in press releases and in newsletters. They show employees, clients and partners: something is happening here. There is energy here. It's worth being part of this.

My style: Documentary & unstaged

I don't photograph for the photo — I photograph for the moment. My approach is documentary: I move unobtrusively through the event, observe, wait, and press the shutter at the right moment.

No group photos with forced smiles. No staged handshakes. Instead: real conversations in backlight, laughter between programme items, the look into the audience during the keynote.

This style produces images that don't feel like stock photos — but like an honest memory of what really happened. That's exactly what makes the difference when you use the images later.

Which events do I cover?

I cover business events of all sizes in Berlin and throughout Germany — from small networking evenings with 30 guests to international conferences with several hundred attendees.

My focus areas include corporate events, conferences and congresses, product launch events, award ceremonies and gala evenings, workshops and seminars, as well as Christmas parties and company anniversaries.

Every event has its own rhythm and energy. I take time before the shoot day to understand the schedule and expectations — so that nothing is left to chance on the day itself.
